About the LIFE Program: The LIFE program offers a simple and accessible way for qualifying LA County residents to save on transportation fares. Metro is currently offering new participants 90 days of free rides, including access to 15 other city transportation agencies. After the 90day period, participants can receive either a discounted pass or 20 free rides a month, which can be used on the Metro bus, train, Metro Micro, and participating transit agencies. The program is incomebased, with a selfcertification option that allows participants to declare their income without providing documentation.
